Flemish theme channel MENT TV contacted Venture Campus for guidance on its grant application. The innovative idea was fully worked out, but proved a challenge to convey efficiently to VLAIO. With Venture Campus’s help, MENT TV was awarded a grant to develop the idea further.
Who is MENT TV?
MENT TV is a Flemish theme channel that has broadcast feelgood music nationally since 2010 and reaches around 1.4 million unique viewers a month. It is available via Telenet, Proximus, Orange and Joyne.
MENT TV 2.0: visual radio
MENT TV 2.0 seeks the perfect integration of radio and television: the viewer gets 100% radio and 100% television. A single presenter controls all media with one finger, images flow seamlessly and cameras switch automatically — unique in the market, making shows viable that would be too costly in the classic model.
